Things to do in Corby
We have lived locally for all our lives, and love the area so Corby seemed like a the right progression and location to open another branch of Magnolia the Florist. When we aren’t elbow deep in stems and foliage, we enjoy exploring the historic gems of Northamptonshire.
Kirby Hall, just a couple of miles north of Corby town centre, is also an interesting visit. With 17th century architecture, this grand building is full of design inspiration – especially the bright flower filled wallpaper! Pictured right is stunning venue flowers Magnolia the Florist have created for Kirby Hall - cream blooms and green foliage for an elegant feel in such a grand wedding venue.
Deene Park is a favourite for a Spring afternoon, strolling around the gardens admiring the beautiful spring buds and blooms, then enjoying a cake (or two) in their quaint tea room.
The Corby Cube is also a famous site in Corby and since it opened in 2010 Magnolia the Florist has been involved in creating wedding flowers and bridal bouquets for happy Corby couples getting married at the register office located at the Cube.
