2022 Christmas Trends

Nothing is more magical than seeing your house decorated for Christmas; for many of us this year, it means more than ever.

A Christmas with no restrictions is something to appreciate after enduring what seems like unending socially isolating limitations.

Here at Magnolia, we believe there is no better way to celebrate than by making your house seem gorgeously festive.  Our seasonal collection is available online now.

Christmas Spice

One of the colour trends for this Christmas will be the traditional red, green, and gold.  This colour scheme is a great investment since it offers a classic aesthetic that will probably be popular year after year.

Traditions endure for a reason and in light of this, Our popular mulled spice door wreath from our Christmas collection is available now.

Not green and Red please

For something different Navy blue is going to be a trendy Christmas tone this year, it works well with a variety of other shades, such as wintery whites and silver.

They perfectly reflect those cold (sometimes snowy) evenings when you can snuggle up with loved ones under a blanket in your living room.

You can completely transform both your tree and surrounding festive decor into a frozen winter wonderland by decorating with this colour.

Super Green(ary)

Greenery, which is abundant, aromatic, and eco-friendly, is expected to play a more prominent role than ever in Christmas decorations this year.

It's hardly surprising that we're going for the greenery now as we decorate tables, sideboards, staircases, and beyond given our heightened appreciation for our green spaces in the wake of the lockdowns and our enhanced awareness of the environment in all we do.

With this in mind, another favourite from our Christmas collection is also available: our Winter Hedgerow Vase, a natural vase arrangement of scented eucalyptus, berries and cones.

Wax Lyrical

Candles will be another popular trend in 2022. Tapered candles in beautiful candlesticks or church candles in arrangements are expected to become a popular addition to the Christmas table this year.

Candles with vibrant two-tone, twisted, shaped, and embellished designs will be prominent, adding a splash of colour to festive decor.

Strike A Light

Candles are also popular gifts, and our scented nutmeg, orange and cinnamon candle is a favourite at Christmas time.  But remember, if you're going all-in on the candles, matches are no longer to be hidden in the bits and pieces drawer, oversized, eye-catching matchboxes are a great finishing touch
