Happy New Year from all the team at Magnolia the Florist. Can you believe we are already 2 weeks in to 2021 – and it has been a winter wonderland start to the year, with much of the UK having chilly days bringing snow and beautiful frosty scenes!
Last year was very different for us all, so we wanted to look ahead to some dates coming up in Spring 2021 to pop in your diary, and help share the love with fresh flowers. Blue Monday - 18th January
According to research, this specific Monday in January is when the blues can hit big time – after all the excitement of Christmas and New Year celebrations, the reality of back to work and cold winter days can make us feel overwhelmed.
This year, more than ever due to lockdown restrictions, it is important to reach out to family and friends this January. Sending a little hand written card, book in a games evening over Zoom, pick up the phone for a chat – let your loved ones near and far know you are thinking of them.

Random Acts of Kindness Day - 17th February
Random acts of kindness day is a great excuse to do something lovely completely out the blue – either for a complete stranger, lovely neighbour, hard working colleague or for a dear friend. From paying for someone shopping at the local supermarket, dropping a care package on a doorstep, leaving a book on a bench to be found, doing the washing up without being asked, smiling at everyone who gets on the bus (harder this year with masks on we know!) orr offering to babysit for an evening – random acts of kindness come in all shapes and sizes.
