Perfect Christmas flowers to send ….Fun Grandparents

A traditional gift but with a stylish twist, Nutcracker Gift box is a beautiful floral arrangement that is sure to bring joy this Christmas.

Our flower team selected the finest roses, Dianthus, Stallion and Berries which are creatively combined with scented cinnamon, glitter pine cones and seasonal foliage.

We present this in a luxurious Nutcracker gift box ready to display – and makes the perfect keepsake after the flowers have faded.

Why is Nutcracker associated with Christmas?

According to German legend, nutcrackers were given as gifts in December to a family to bring luck and protect the home. It is believed that Nutcrackers represent strength, and watch over the family to keep evil spirits away.

However the Nutcracker soldier that is famous at Christmastime worldwide today evolved from the release of the Tchaikovsky ballet ‘The Nutcracker Suite’ in the late 1800’s.

Perfect Christmas flowers to send …. Your BFF

Not all Christmas flowers have to be red and gold to feel festive, as our Chic Pink Sparkle hand-tied bouquet proves!

Our expert florists use pink roses, wax flower, gyp, seasonal scented foliage and wintery twigs for lots of glamour and glitz. Finished with stylish wrap paper for show stopping flowers when delivered.

Pink roses symbolise joy and happiness, so are a great choice to send your best friend at Christmas time.

What flowers are traditional to give at Christmas?

At Christmas time we are spoilt for choice with seasonal flowers and foliage perfect for festivities.  Some of the most popular choices for flowers and plants to symbolise the joy of Christmas are Poinsettias, Christmas Cactus, Holly, Christmas Rose, Ivy and  Mistletoe.

Traditional colours such as ruby red, forest green and gold are always popular, and Magnolia the florist create our Christmas Collection with this in mind. However we like to offer our Kettering clients something a little bit different, so we also design bespoke Christmas flowers with snowy white, Nordic inspired or frosted pastel themes!

Perfect Christmas flowers for …. Christmas party hosts

Looking for a thoughtful ‘thanks a bunch’ gift to take for Christmas party hosts, our Christmas Spice Arrangement is the perfect option.

Designed by our skilled florists, Christmas Spice bouquet is a beautiful and festive way to decorate any room and makes a stunning table centrepiece - ideal for party hosts to pop proudly on display!

Using seasonal flowers in crimson red and snowy white, we add scented foliage and cinnamon, mixing freshly scented pine and Eucalyptus with gold fern.

Perfect Christmas flowers to send ….loved ones miles away

Sometimes the ones we keep closest in our hearts don’t live nearby. At Christmas time it is lovely to send a heartfelt gift to show them just how much you care.

Our Hope bouquet from our Nationwide Flower Range is a perfect option for December. We use seasonal flowers such as roses and lilies in wintery white tones and lush green foliage.

We offer a next day nationwide flower delivery service of beautiful blooms created by Magnolia the Florist. We recommend to order early for nationwide flowers at Christmas time, as there are certain date restrictions for delivery.
